Our responsibility for a liveable future
We attach great importance to cooperating with partners and employees who share our commitment to the highest quality and our respect for the environment.
Receiving the EMAS certificate in January 2024 underlines our future-oriented and sustainable corporate management.
Our memberships in the BSCI and SEDEX organisations are just as much a matter of course as the DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 certifications, which are now included in EMAS.
In addition, we continuously invest in various projects to reduce our energy balance. In addition to using energy-optimised machinery and a large-scale photovoltaic system, we employ technical systems to control and regulate many energy-related processes.
We, the entire Klio-Eterna team, do our best every day to preserve a liveable future for ourselves and our children.

Since January 2024, we, Klio-Eterna, have held the EMAS environmental certificate.
EMAS stands for "Eco-Management and Audit Scheme" and is the world's most ambitious system for sustainable environmental management. With this certification, we underline our future-oriented and sustainable corporate management.
The certification enables us to make an effective contribution to environmental protection, as the specifications go far beyond the ISO 14001 requirements and EMAS ensures that environmental and climate protection is actively and continuously practised in our day-to-day business.

Management standards
We regularly certify ourselves according to the internationally valid management standards. We successfully passed the last audit in November 2023.
Environmental standards
Production at the Wolfach site is climate-neutral. In addition to a large-scale photovoltaic system for generating energy for our production, we obtain 100% green electricity from renewable sources.
Social and ethical standards
Through our memberships with the BSCI and SEDEX organisations, we guarantee responsible, socially and ethically correct corporate behaviour.
